The Department of Electrical, Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering was set up under this college in academic year 2004-2005 with the introduction of 04 years long Diploma in Electronics Engineering under BTEB. The 2nd program which was started in 2006-2007 under this department was 04 years long Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering under BTEB. Diploma in Electrical Engineering was added as the 3rd Program under this department in 2009-2010.

Quick expansion of programs clearly demonstrate the demand of all the technologies under this department. This is the age of Information & Communication Technology. Modern civilization can not advance a single step without the support of Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication Technologies. As such the demands of these technologies are ever-lasting.

At present more than 700 students have been studying under this department.
