I am very much delighted to introduce our Department of Civil & Construction Engineering of BCMC College of Engineering & Technology. As the Head of Civil & Construction Engineering Department, I am privileged to be at the helm of what is considered as one of the foremost departments in this college. The department is conducted by well educated, student-friendly and research minded teachers. Also the department is enriched with Civil & Construction related laboratories. I hope to lead through an outstanding development and growth in overall teaching, learning and research environment of campus.

Department in Brief

The Department of Civil & Construction Engineering started its journey from the academic year 2005-2006. This technology is treated as the king of all technologies as it is an integral part of modern civilization. Accommodation which is one of the basic needs of people is fulfilled by this technology.

The college started 04 years long Diploma in Civil Engineering under BTEB in 2005-2006. The college started another identical program 04 years long Diploma in Construction Engineering under BTEB in 2010-2011.

The college started B Sc in Civil Engineering program under Rajshahi University in 2013-2014.

At present around 600 students have been studying under this department.
