Message of Welcome

Welcome to the Department of IPMM Engineering of BCMC College of Engineering & Technology. Industrial & Production Engineering is that technology which emphasizes production improvement in the light of cost control. Besides Mechanical Engineering is the only technology which is for the present and the future. Marine Engineering is treated as a hot cake among the students.

So, all are welcome to BCMC College of Engineering & Technology as well as to this department for building up ambitious future.

 Department in Brief

With the introduction of 04 years long Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Program under BTEB in the academic year 2010-2011, the Department of Industrial & Production, Marine and Mechanical Engineering (IPMM Engg) was set up. Introduction of 04 years long Diploma in Marine Engineering under BTEB in 2012-2013 created great enthusiasm among the students. In the year 2015-2016 the college started Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering under BTEB.

The college introduced B Sc in Mechanical Engineering (ME) & B Sc in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) under Rajshahi University in 2013-2014.

The job market for the graduates of all these programs is very attractive. There is tremendous demand of these graduates both at home & abroad.

At present more than 400 students have been studying under this department.
